Of the 41 teams to fall behind 3-0 in a best-of-seven postseason series, the Yankees are only the 10th to even avoid a sweep. Of the previous nine to do so, four managed to force a Game 6 and two forced a Game 7, although none of those occurred in the World Series.
The Yankees are trying to become just the second team ever — joining the 2004 Red Sox in the ALCS — to win a postseason series after trailing 3-0. They’ve already become the first World Series team in 10 tries to fall behind 3-0 and force a Game 5 (the most recent had been the 1970 Reds).

Been trying to find somewhere to play this rendition. It was my first Carmen Sandiego game and holds a special place in my heart, especially since they got Lyn Thigpin to play The Chief from the game show. I’ve looked everywhere online and sites have other Carmen games but not this one.

Gumshoes, we need your help to track down the notorious VILE operative, Carmen Sandiego. She’s stolen the Crown Jewels from London and is on the move in Google Earth. Created in collaboration with Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, our game is an homage to the original. It’s for all those gumshoes who grew up with the chase, and for the next generation feeling that geography itch for the first time.
Bigham considered his relationship with this first Carmen game as one of “love-hate”, as he had been more inspired to develop action games, and Carlston had denied him opportunities to work on these at Broderbund while Carmen was still in production. Bigham was still not sure if the game would be successful, and once the game was complete by 1985, took a brief leave from Broderbund to work with Douglas E. Smith during that summer. When he returned to Broderbund, he was surprised that Carmen was popular from a market area they did not anticipate, that being from an educational standpoint, becoming a core piece of software in many schools.
